Canberra Tree Surgery

EnviroAg Services provides best practice weed control and pest plant services to clients in the Southern Highlands, South Coast and Canberra districts.

We have over twenty five years experience in controlling noxious and environmental weeds. We use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices and control methods the CSIRO and Department of Primary Industry (DPI) have developed to leave the treated area ecologically viable.

Our operators use these practices to control grass weeds such as serrated tussock and African lovegrass, woody weeds such as blackberries and tree weeds such as willow trees.

Each client’s case is different which is why we tailor each approach independently.

Integrated Pest Management

We apply management control methodology including Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles to control weeds. IPM is an industry standard practice used to prevent pest control problems recurring with forward planning, timely decision making and regular monitoring.

IPM control methods for weed management involves various control methods such as herbicide spraying, cut-stump and poison, and physical control methods involving the use of machinery such as brushcutters, chainsaws and bobcats.

IPM strategy in pasture management encourages the reestablishment and regrowth of wanted perennial grasses to produce a competitive barrier and reduce the reoccurrence of weeds. This can be achieved by implementing a sustainable grazing management program to maintain the health of your grassland.

We carry out weed control services in Canberra, Queanbeyan, Yass, Murrumbateman, Goulburn, Palerang Shire including Bungendore and Braidwood, South Coast, Cooma-Monaro, Wingecarribee and many more.
